My Digital Artifact is an Instagram page based on the concept of Wardrobe Capsule in fashion. Wardrobe capsule is a concept of collection of clothes that are interchangeable items, which helps in maximizing the number of outfits that can be created with owning the most minimum number of clothes.

My goal is to write weekly blogs based on advising about fashion and outfits and what colors go with every skin tone. Through Instagram reels I will posting weekly outfit ideas for the week and it will begin with which all basic pieces of clothing are required. Through this I will help the viewers and my audience to plan out their outfits for the week so they do not have to stress and can easily pick outfits and do not get overwhelmed with having to choose what to wear.

In my initial pitch, I had mentioned an additional goal to start this page which was to not only create outfit but the clothes to be stylish, inexpensive and relatable outfits for university students. The demographic I target is females from the age of 15-22 year old females. Through this, I would also be helping them discover new, affordable brands with the finest quality of clothes.

My personal goal behind this is to build my skills in editing, transitioning social media and monetizing these skills in the upcoming future. Also, to create my space to test out my creativity, work on something I am passionate about and share my knowledge and tips and learn too.

During my beta phase or transitioning and evolving I had to add a few activities to gain audience interaction. Through posting stories, hosting story question and answer with my followers to having polls it helped me to get in touch and appear more relatable to the audience. I also gained feedbacks and questions from my followers in order to enhance the quality of my content. They wanted to know how can a single piece of clothing be paired in different ways and it led me to thinking to make individual reel episodes to help them understand better.

My inspiration to work on this DA has been Kritika Khuranna who is an Indian social media influencer, fashion and travel blogger and Youtuber. Earlier this year I came across her Instagram page called ‘ThatBohoGirl’. Seeing her content it inspired me also to create something towards fashion and create my own niche. After working weeks behind my DA, I have come to a conclusion that I would like to keep continuing my project, make more content, discover more brands, collaborate with small businesses and promote their clothing line and keep engaging with my demographic.
